The following information has been passed to me by the family of Reginald Arnold's (RiD1751) daughter.
"Richard Arnold was baptised on the 28th March 1779. He was born in Swingfield, Kent. He appears in the 1851 census at Bryton Lane Cottage, Swingfield and his occupation was Agricultural labourer.
In the 1861 census he appears in Elham Workhouse, Kent and is shown as 'blind'. He died on the 20th December 1866 in Union Workhouse, Lyminge, Elham, Kent.According to the death certificateRichard Page from the workhouse was present at the death.
Richard and Elizabeth Holiday had marriage banns published on the 24th September , 1st October and 8th October 1809. They were married on the 12th October 1809 in Swingfield, Kent. They appear in the 1841 census in Lampus Lodge, Swingfield, Dover."
