Note on Marriage to Ann POLLARD
In the 1871 census, a Bridget POLLARD (age 68, b1803) is shown living at Dewhurst Street, Preston with Patrick and his wife Ann. Bridget is shown as mother-in-law to Patrick.
This fits with the birth of an Ann Pollard in1839. who I think is the correct Ann, but I am unable to find a marriage registration between Ann Pollard and Patrick Dwyer to confirm the relationships detailed in the 1871 census.
Also there is a death registration of a Bridget Ann Pollard in Preston in September quarter 1873, which would seem to fit, Her age is given as 69, giving an approximate date of birth of 1803/4.
