Census | 1921 (age 14 years 8 months) | |
Edward's parents Edward and Sarah appear in the 1921 census living at 29 Phelp Street, Walworth. Their children are all listed on the census return. Edward's occupation is shown as an Assistant Baker working for "Griesback" at 61 Westmoreland Road, which was only a couple of minutes walk from Phelp Street. There is a Griesback family living in Westmoreland Road in the 1911 census, so it is assumed that this is a family baking business, but more research required. It is interesting to note the bakery connection as this was also the occupation of the husband of Edward's sister Jessie (Joseph Robinson (RiD 719)). |
