Mary married Henry Robinson in Dec 1887 and her surname name on the register is BEECHEY. At the time of this marriage she already had a child (William BEECHEY b 1882) and Henry had 4 children born between 1876 and 1882. They subsiquently had a child together, Ada, b 1890.
On the register for her first marriage. there are two Mary Ann's on the same reference number and as the registers in 1872 do not contain the spouses names, further investigation is needed to establish whether Mary Ann was an Evans, or a Hayward at birth.
It is assumed therefore that William's father had died sometime between about 1881 (conception) and 1887 (Mary's marriage to Henry). There are two possible individuals which could be Mary's husband, but Charles is the best fit (see notes on Charles' page),
