John Robert has been fairly easy to trace, but one anomoly is that at the time of his marriage in 1876 and the 1881 census, his occupation is shown as a boot riviter/maker but on Rosetta's birth certificate (1878) and in the 1911 census, he is shown as a "Carman".
Did he swap between jobs, or are these two different John Cook-Abbotts. This is still under investigation.
