| Paulina's birth date is approximated from census returns. The 1841 census taken in St Matthews Parish, Ipswich, shows "born in this county" and the 1861 census shows her as being 24, therefore born approximately 1837. I am assuming that she was born before compulsory registration as I have been unable to find an enrty for her in the BMD index. |
