| I have been unable to identify the definative marriage of Ebenezer Robertson to Mary, but on FreeBMD I have found a registration of the marriage of Ebenezer John ROBINSON to Mary Bird in Ipswich in December quarter 1856.. This would fit in terms of Ebenezer's age, location and the birth date of his son. I have examined an online copy of the register, which does use the name Robinson, so this is not a FreeBMD transcription error, but may of course be an error on the part of the original registrar? Some details about this individual have been extracted from a family bible first written
by Ebenezer Robertson (RiD 1853) in 1822, which included information copied from an earlier book dating to 1811.
