| Edward's death registration was in Sudbury in June quarter 1899. It shows him as age 44 which indicates a birth date in 1855 (not 1853 as indicated by a search of birth registrations). As there are no other birth registrations for an Edward Ratcliffe in Sudbury between 1850 and 1860, I am confident that I have the correct birth and death dates, and that the age of 44 shown was an error either on the part of the person providing the registration information, or the transcriber. Edward was buried in Sudbury Cemetery on the 14th April 1899 | ||
