I have tried to maintain the same spellings as appears on the documents.
From the 1861 census above, I am assuming that Mary Hayward died sometime between 1851 (when
her son Michael was born) and 1857 (when Sarah Abbott was born), and that Ephariam remarried to an Anna W during the same period.
There are two possible death registrations for Mary:-
Mary Abbott in September quarter 1853 in Ipswich, and
Mary Abbot in December quarter 1854 in Ipswich.
Further investigation is needed into both Mary's death and Anna W generally.
Also note that Ephriam's eldest daughter, Mary Ann married a George Tungate in Norwich in September quarter
1859.
