The following information has been passed to me by the family of Reginald Arnold's (RiD1751) daughter.
"Filmer George (Fil) Arnold was born on the 30th September 1887 at 27 Balfour Street, Battersea. His birth was registered on the 25th October 1870. He appeared in the 1881 census at 16 Balfour Street. Listed as Phinner Arnold in the 1891 census, his occupation was General Labourer. He died of Carcinoma of Bladder and Secondary Anaemia on the 7th June 1944 in Bromley, Kent. His death was registered on the 8th June 1944 by his daughter Florence Nuttley. He was buried in June 1944 in Bromley, Kent. C1920 his occupation was Retired Labourer in Gas Works.
c 1930 he lived at 'Mohawk' Hever Ave, Kingsdown Road, Darent Valley, Dartford, Kent in a bungalow built by his sons. It had it's own private tennis court at the back.
c1901 - 1919 he was a Coal Porter in Wandsworth.
Filmer and Jane Ann were married on the 25th December 1888 in Lambeth. They appear in the 1891 census at 1 Sleaford St, Battersea and in 1901 census at 8 Ceylon Street, Battersea. The 1891 census shows Filmer as 'Gilma'.
