I am a descendant of Thomas and Sarah - how can I help?

Although this site is focused on the Cook-Abbott name, many Cook-Abbott daughters have married into other families, but their children are stll related to Thomas and Sarah even though they may have a different surname. Whether you are a Cook-Abbott, or a descendant of a Cook-Abbott, this site is still for you and I hope that you will find it interesting and feel able to spare a bit of time to help me fill the gaps in my research.

It may only be to point out that I have got some names or dates wrong, or you may have informaton on a new individual or family line? Wouldn't it be great if you have some family photographs or documents you would be willing to share? Perhaps you might even set down in writing some memories of your parents and grand parents (even great grand parents if you can go back that far!). If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, why not provide a short biography of yourself (or one of your ancestors). It doesn't need to be intrusive, just a few facts to give us all a flavor of who it is that makes up this Cook-Abbott family tree. To start us off, I have taken the plunge - if you are a registered user you can view my contribution here.

Perhaps you belong to an organisation or association you would like to promote? If so, send me their web site details and I will add it to the Links page

In due course, if there is sufficient interest, the site could be expanded to include a guest book, blogs or even a chat room? I am open to suggestions. I hope that in time this site will become a valuable resource for future generations, but I cannot do it on my own.

I look forward to hearing from you.
